Frequently Asked Questions
Are you restricted to any particular styles?
Not at all. At The Kitchen Den, we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of kitchen styles — from sleek, modern handleless designs to timeless shaker and in-frame collections. Our designers work closely with you to create a look that reflects your personal taste, whether that’s contemporary, classic, or a blend of both.
Can I supply my own fitters?
Yes. If you have your own trusted fitters, we’re happy to provide a design and supply only service. We’ll ensure your chosen installer has all the necessary plans, specifications, and support to complete the project smoothly. Alternatively, you can choose to work with one of our trusted partner installers, who know our products and standards inside out.
Do I have to take my own measurements?
Not necessarily. If you’re just starting out, a rough set of measurements or architect’s plans is enough for us to create an initial design. Once you’re happy to move forward, our team will carry out a full site survey to take accurate measurements before anything is ordered, ensuring everything fits perfectly.
What areas do you cover?
Our showrooms are based in Bradley Stoke and Zetland Rd in Bristol and we work with clients across the South West, including Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath, and surrounding areas. For larger residential or developer projects, we are also able to work further afield by arrangement.
Are your kitchens suitable for all-sized spaces?
Yes. Whether you have a compact apartment kitchen, a medium-sized family space, or a large open-plan layout, we can design a kitchen to suit. Our team specialises in making the most of every inch — from clever storage solutions for smaller rooms to statement islands and feature lighting in larger spaces.
How long will it take to design my kitchen?
The design process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of your project and how quickly decisions are made on styles, finishes, and appliances. We’ll work closely with you at every stage to ensure the design is tailored perfectly to your needs
